Dear David, I am very proud of you as an Armenian. I heard that your grandparents came to Argentina from Romania. Is it true ??? I am born in Romania, and one of my classmate was Nalbandian. Who knows ??? I am 70.
What I want you to do this year is to
win a Grand Slam, and if possible to bit Federer ( as you did in Shanhai few years ago from down love 2 ).

Hi David,
I am a huge fan of yours since the beginning, following your tournaments everyweek and hoping that you would go all the way every time (that is a tall order). But what you did at this years end was absolutely phenomenal winning two masters series title and defeating Federer back to back (not an easy task). You should be very proud of yourself, I know all the Armenians in the world are. You are a joy to watch.
I wish you all the best for 2008 stay healthy and win as many tournaments as you can (specially the grand slam events).
Hallo David.
I am from Armenia, 18 years old and I live since 5 years in Austria. But I will always be an armenian.it's a pity that you can't speak Armenian but it's not your fault. You have an armenian name and all armenians in Armenia and abroad are proud of you.
After you won against Nadal in Madrid i thought that you are in form again and i prayed god day-to-day that you win this masters-series in Madrid and then in Paris. It is incredible, but my dreams came true.
My next and the most important desire is that you win minimum one grand-slam title next year. But I trust you to win all the grand-slams next year but it's a long way, of cours.
When I become austrian pass I will see you by the ATP Tournament in Vienna immediately.
I wish you the best for you and your tennis career.
Please, please, please..... Write to me back, then I will be sure that you have read my letter and I will feel very, very, very happy.

Dear David,
I was a member of AGBU since my childhood and where I played Basketball continuously.
I am now 65 years old and I still play basketball with the veterans and old timers at ABBU Montreal.
I have seen many victories come and go at AGBU in my lifetime, but the biggest victory of my life is the sense of belonging to a winning Armenian team.
As an advise, do what you have to do for your career and life, but don't you ever loose your relation with AGBU.
They used to ask in Lebanon like are there famous Armenians arround the world? we used to say YES sure Migoyan,Charles Aznavour,Victor Hampartsumian and others but today we used to say in Lebanon We have also David Nalbandian too & so PROUD :) long live Armenians. I personally encourage those diasporian Armenians when they keep sayin im Armenian and not anything else. Good luck for everyone hope you can win more and more !

Not sure if you have been to Nagorno Karabakh, but I was recently there with Lady Caroline Cox to help the people of this new nation and volunteer at the Lady Cox rehabilitation centre. I would be thrilled to take you there some day if you decide to come. Some of my best friends in the world live there, even though I live in Canada. Look forward to hearing from you.

Dear David when you started to play in big tournaments as a junior I was happy to read the name of fellow Armenian in statisticks. Then you became older and I red reports about your games. After that I watched your games. I am very sure the same way you been fllowed by many Armenians all around the world. We live around the world but we all together BECAUSE EVERY ONE OF US IS A PART OF OUR HOMELAND. I live now in USA. When my boy started to write music for orchestras and at age of 11 in 2006 became finalist in internationa competition for (all of them proffesiionals) composera in Russia and then became winner whole american competition for composers up to 18 years old and when his music was played at New Yorks Carnegie HalI, at stages in Moscow, and Los Angeles I was happy as a father but also I was proud that our family introdused talant of Armenian nation. We have to remember our roots and fight aainst denials Armenian Genoside. That why when he learned programming he made website about Armenian Genocide at www.VartanSimonian.com and introdused that at California History Day project. Those who participated this event could see that Armenians remember and they would continioue fight for recognisithion Armenian Genocide by America.
At this November he became 13 and now applying for college. We hope he will be there and again name of Armenian will make proud Armenians and would surprize people of our city and make them to recognise us as a nation of talants. That why Armenians happy when you are succsieding when Levon Aronian and Armenian chess team won major competitons and few days ago they became second (man) and third (women) at European team championship and also I been happy the same way as we been happy for your as we happy for our son. Because all of us belongs to each other. I am proud of you and you make me to believe that your real success stil ahead. God bless you and your family whose sapport was very important for your life. Hello David!
I'd like to congratulate you about your success in tennis and that you have not denied you are Armenian as many famous persons have.Very often, when I watch the sport news on TV,I hear your name and I have always thought whether you feel yourself a real Armenian.
It is very nice that we have such a famous player who have prooved he has not forgotten his origin.
I wish you much more success and God be with you in all your works!

Proud to be Nalbandian! Because of you I don't have to spell out my surname as often. I just say Nalbandian, and people write it down as though it was Smith (and of course it is!)
Good on you, mate!

Hi David,
I would like to congratulate you on your recent success and I pray for you to be healthy and happy in life and please bring us a grand slam title
in 2008 for as much I respect and appreciate everything Andre Agassi did
and is continuing to do for Armenia and the tennis world the fact is he did not have IAN at the end of his last name and it would be cool for you to be the fist Armenian with IAN to win a grand slam title.
LOL, Just having fun regarding IAN David I wish you all the best my brother.

Dear David,
Me and my wife, we watch you playing everytime you are on our TV sets. We
were very frustated, because of Federer you could not win YET a grand slam, but
we hope and we are very sure you will succedee and soon. If you bit Federe in
a grand slam final, it will be a bonus for us and kind of revange. He also prevented Agassi from getting few more slams before retiring.
We enjoyed your recent victories over Federerin Madirid and Paris
